Supporting People Impacted by Cancer

I am thrilled to announce the launch of the newly revamped www.jeanninewalston.com, going live on June 1, 2026, with a renewed focus on cancer and integrative cancer care for the whole person. As a 28-year brain tumor survivor, I have learned that challenges can transform into opportunities and adversity can inspire action. My personal brain tumor journey has shown me the profound need for help, as too many people experience pain and loss from cancer. Ultimately, my suffering transformed into a higher calling. This website is my heartfelt gift to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, practitioners, and anyone seeking guidance on their own path.

On the new website, some previous content has been thoughtfully revised or rewritten. New topics have also been added, such as Brain Health, Cancer Genetics, Compassionate Care for Cancer Patients, African American Cancer Patients & Women with Brain Tumors, and Coca-Cola Impacts Cancer & Chronic Diseases. Some content from the original site, including certain blogs, has been removed. Please note that some aspects of the new site are still being refined and improved.

For those unfamiliar with my story, I have undergone three awake brain surgeries (NIH, UCSF, UCLA), radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and participated in clinical trials—most notably, immunotherapy with a dendritic cell-based vaccine. Since 2013, I have received care at UCLA Health, specifically from the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery with Dr. Linda Liau and the UCLA Brain Tumor Center with Dr. Timothy Cloughesy. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional treatment and ongoing support I have received.

Wherever you are on your journey, I wish you strength and hope. Cancer is complex and finding support for both the disease and your whole person is essential for optimal health and healing. Quality cancer care and integrative cancer care for the whole person is vital. I invite you to explore www.jeanninewalston.com.
