“Jeannine Walston gets it because she been there. She is an exceptional cancer coach, advocate and patient. Jeannine can translate a mountain of research and information to help you make educated and informed decisions. Quite simply, she is a blessing.”

-Kris Carr, New York Times best-selling author and wellness advocate

-James S. Gordon, MD, founder and director of The Center for Mind-Body Medicine

Without quality guidance, accessing reliable cancer information and making informed decisions can be challenging. To overcome the overwhelm and confusion of not knowing where to turn or what steps to take, cancer patients benefit from developing a clear roadmap, empowering them to move toward optimal health and healing.

In my own healing path since my brain tumor diagnosis, I’ve had two awake brain surgeries plus hundreds of integrative cancer therapies. With many twists and turns, seeking, searching, and trying to stay alive to heal, I gained profound insights about cancer information, resources, treatments, and other aspects of assistance for many different stages of healing from cancer. My personal cancer journey also involved extensive professional work at the National Cancer Institute, the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health’s National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine’s Clearinghouse, the U.S. Congress, cancer non-profits, health care practices, and other health care businesses, which gave me tremendous knowledge.
Throughout my pain, as I gained cancer information in my journey personally and professionally, I also felt extremely inspired to share it with others. That began with support groups, cancer conferences, a speech in front of the U.S. Capitol, more volunteer work in the brain tumor and cancer community, published articles, as well as helping family, friends, and friends of friends affected by cancer. When I started my first business, Healing Focus, in 2004, part of my services ultimately included work as a Cancer Coach. Since then, through various requests, situations, and projects, my support for cancer patients and caregivers has helped thousands of people.

It was no accident. My personal and professional experiences allowed me to gain my knowledge and enhance my skills to serve my purpose.

Now, as a cancer survivor since 1998 and with extensive professional experience, my individualized person-centered one-on-one support services as a Cancer Coach give the following to cancer patients and caregivers.

  • New cancer knowledge they’ve never known before
  • Enhanced decision-making
  • Advice about ways to improve quality of life and potentially cancer survival
  • Essential insights with very meaningful assistance and support in healing
